In August, there were some interesting events for tourists from within and outside the country can join. Among them are:
1. Malaysia KL Family Fair.
- This event may be accompanied by Malaysians and tourists. It provides a host of activities suitable family.
- Held from June 19, 2010 until December 19, 2010 Malaysia Tourism Centre is located.
2. Art Kotemporari 1Malaysia.
- Various exhibitions and seminars conducted among Haw Cheng Chien Solo Exhibition, i-City Contemporary Art Exhibition, Malaysian Contemporary Art Seminar and the like.

- Independence Day Celebration is a day when the much awaited by all Malaysians.
- This celebration will be held on August 31, 2010.
- There are parades, fireworks shows, and other interesting activities.
